How to See Who You Requested to Follow on Instagram

Have you ever gone on a following spree on Instagram? The problem is that it can be easy to forget who you’ve requested to follow! If this is the case, don’t worry. Instagram makes how to see who you requested to follow on Instagram simple. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Go to Settings

First, you’ll need to head to the Instagram settings page. Click on your profile icon and it will take you to your home page. Click on the three-line menu i don’t at the top right corner. Tapping here shows you all of the tools Instagram offers. In the menu, select “Settings.”

Step 2: Go to Activity

Within Settings, head to the “Security” tab. Here you’ll find all of the privacy settings for your account. Click on “Access Data” to find all of the data from your Instagram activity.

When you go to the Access Data section, you’re greeted with a detailed account of your Instagram interactions. This section is full of information from your search history to past connections. You’ll want to click on “Connections” which will lead you to “Current Follow Requests.” Click on that.

Step 4: Find Pending Requests

Click on “View All” when you’re in the Current Follow Requests section. This will show you a list of everyone that hasn’t responded to your requests. From here, you can cancel any pending requests you’ve changed your mind about or just stay updated on the status. It’s a good tool for collecting data.
