When I talk to a lot of business owners, they are often skeptical about the benefits of working with influencers. In fact, I was a little surprised at the negativity that I was getting from that sphere. I can completely understand why some people are not too keen on the idea of working with influencers. They feel it may dilute their business or take away from other important work.
But the fact is that methods for advertising are changing all the time. We already know that leveraging social media is so important. There is no reason why businesses should be ignoring influencers. I was skeptical at first. But then I began to see why having influencers on board would be a good idea.
The question that I still get from so many business owners is about the concept of influencers. Let me explain. An Instagram influencer is someone who has a big following on the platform. And they are the type of person who is often recommending different products, services or places. People are not just following this person for fun or because they are a well-known name. They are following them for such recommendations. The opinion of these people is important to their followers.
And that is the reason why a business should be working with them. It is part of my whole Instagram strategy. When I first created the account for my business, I checked out the options to get free Instagram followers. I was impressed with what I saw. You can get followers, likes, comments and views on Instagram for a very affordable price. And I was able to use that method to grow my account to a solid level. And I also got a lot of genuine follows and likes as I was posting good content.
When I was happy with the state of my account, I started to look out for influencers. The key is not just to find someone who has 100,000 or more followers. You also want someone who is respected. There is no point in having an account with a million followers if they are not taken seriously. Or if their followers have no interest in what you are offering.
It must be a partnership that benefits both parties. That is what I learned after my first few conversations with influencers. They are not just going to work with anyone who is willing to pay them or give them free products. They also have a brand and an image to protect and grow. The same is true for me and my business. That is why I was able to find influencers who wanted the same things as I did.
I was able to show these people the quality of my business and products. I was able to convince them working together would help us both. And it did. All the influencers I have partnered with have more followers than when we started out. And so does the account for my company.
Business has been better too. The affiliate links I give out are generating very good results.
