Jessica Miller

Jessica is a consultant, researcher, and the editor-in-chief of the Buzzoid blog, who specializes in social media, marketing, and digital strategy. She is a graduate of Antioch College and earned her MBA at Boston College’s Carroll Graduate School of Management, specializing in STEM Management.

Jessica began her career working for one of the nation’s largest consulting firms. She quickly developed unique expertise in the use of machine learning and other advanced technologies to advance effective social media marketing strategies. Jessica became the consulting firm’s go-to expert on the subject, working on the development of social media campaigns for many Fortune 100 companies.

Jessica returned to the academic world for a short time as a professor at MIT, where her advanced research earned her a reputation as one of America’s top social media experts. Her work was published in numerous academic journals and mainstream publications, and she appeared on broadcast outlets including NPR and CNN to share her expertise.

Jessica was enticed back to the public sector by a major social media platform, where she worked as vice president of research and development, before agreeing to join Buzzoid as our social media marketing consultant, editor-in-chief, and chief author.

Jessica is a pillar of Buzzoid’s operations because of the many hats she wears: supervising the quality of all our products and services, editing the Buzzoid blog, writing and publishing research-based content about Instagram and TikTok, and moderating our podcasts on social media marketing and the growing role of artificial intelligence in social media services. Among many other projects, she pioneered our first-in-the-industry advanced AI Instagram comments service.

Jessica enjoys biking and skiing, and she lives in New England with her husband, two children, and three dogs.
